In this role, you have the opportunity to
Carries out, independently and according to own judgement, targeted development assignments, the broad outlines of which have already been indicated.
Develops parts of a new product according to technical specifications on basis of familiar technologies.
Develops materials and techniques. Prepares design releases
You are responsible for
?Own the responsibility of the product electrical design, create the schematics and carry out its implementation to meet product specifications, schedule and cost target.
?Team up with software engineers and mechanical engineers to implement design integration to ensure high quality of the product.
?Create and implement product test plans/protocols and generate test reports to ensure product design meets the specifications and Quality System requirements.
?Coordinate with and support certified test agencies to perform environmental and safety testing to get the CB report timely for approval of global regulatory bodies.
?Implement evaluation of new technologies and innovative solutions for new product design to meet customer requirements, lower product cost and minimize design risk.
?Establish and identify the product specifications to meet global market requirements and industrial standards.
?Specify and qualify parts/services for new product design or currently released product to ensure the high quality of the product.
?Prepare documentation for design transfer and work with manufacturing engineers to ensure a smooth and timely product transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
?Own the Engineering Responsibility for current products of initiating/evaluating design changes and approving Change Orders to ensure product quality.
You are a part of
A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Manager, Product Engineering, with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
?Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
?Minimum 3-year experience in electrical, motion drive control, power supply, MCU application and design. Familiar with major embedded platforms, CAD and simulation tools (PADS, ALLEGRO).
?Ability to interface effectively with various functional areas
?Ability to meet aggressive schedules
?Excellent communication skills – verbal & written both in English and Chinese
?Quality orientation, excellent team work, flexibility, outstanding initiatives, excellent technical and business judgment.
