In this role, you have the opportunity to
Ensure project objectives are accomplished by planning, evaluating, tracking and managing activities per the development process while facilitating cross-functional engagement.
You are responsible for
?Overall project management, including activity planning, time scheduling, resource planning, quality planning, risk and communication management
?Work closely with the development teams to coordinate and synchronize the prototype build process including hardware and software components, ensuring that feature additions and defect fixes are successfully delivered to the product programs in a well-planned and timely fashion
?Develop the cross-functional plan/strategy and drives its execution
?Actively promote the use of structured methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma - DMIAC, DFSS, Design for Reliability, Manufacturability, Serviceability etc.) to realize the project deliverables
?Milestone deliverables tracking and closure
?Promote quality and compliance to process and regulation for all project deliverables
?Lead project team meetings, ensuring cross-functional representation and participation
?Support functional managers establish a high performance team
?Pro-actively monitor project progress, anticipating the effect of dependencies on schedule
?Make daily execution decisions and drives execution mechanisms
?Identify Critical dependencies, risks and contingency planning
?Identify problems with ongoing activities through the core team and facilitates the problem solving process
?Responsible for project reviews and team communications
?Consolidate material expenses (total project Non-Recurring Engineering [NRE] cost)
?Prototype and Pre-production Unit Allocation
?Drive delivery of planned product costs; Costs Of Goods Sold (COGS)
?Ability to adapt and respond in a rapidly changing environment or priorities.
?Additional duties as assigned.
You are a part of
A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Manager, Gantry Engineering, with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
?Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably MBA
?10+ years of experience in technology company
?Demonstrated leadership managing people
?Proven ability to drive cooperation in cross-functional teams and across departments
?Working knowledge of project management tools and software packages (incl. MS project, excel, visio, or equivalent)
?Demonstrated ability to establish methods for tracking performance, quality, time and cost
?Good people management skills, including: leadership, conflict resolution, assertiveness, negotiation and influence management
?Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and Chinese
?Strong presentation skills, appropriate to both management and customer audiences
?PMI certification preferred
?Medical diagnostic industry experience or awareness is highly desired
