Job Description:
NanoBioImaging Ltd (NBI) is inviting applicants for the position of Research Scientist in Oncology Diagnosis for our R & D department. The successful candidate will work with a diverse group of scientists to develop novel super resolution imaging equipment for Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop FISH diagnostic assays, including verification and validation, to support clinical trials and product launch.
2. Document research and product development progress under Quality Management System.
3. Work with marketing department to develop application notes, white papers, product brochures and other promotional materials.
4. Communicate progress directly with colleagues, senior management and collaborators.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Doctorate degree (PhD or MD) in cancer biology, molecular/cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, medicine or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of cancer biology research and development techniques, including FISH, immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH).
3. Experience with FISH analysis is required.
4. Knowledge of statistical methods is desired.
5. Prior experience in clinical pathology is a plus.
6. Proven success in applying independent scientific judgment for experimental design and analysis, and managing collaborative and individual projects.
7. Strong track record of academic journal publications.
