1. The R&D Electrical Engineering Manager is primarily responsiblemanaging all electrical engineering activities for Product DevelopmentProjects. Implements and maintains policies and procedures fordesigning and testing medical devices.
2. Execute design testing, including: signal processing, reliabilityanalysis, circuit simulations, and related documentation.
3. Work closely with highly talented Engineering, Manufacturing, SupplyChain, Sales and Marketing, Quality and external partners and ensureproject costs, performance and schedule targets are met.
4. Develop project plans, set expectations and continually managedeliverables with electrical team members.
1. Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering. Master’s degree and abovein Electrical engineering a plus.
2. Minimum 7 years’ experience with embedded systems, as follows:
3. 16 and 32 bit micro-controllers, PSoC creator
4. Power Supplies
5. Sensing systems and signal processing
6. Communication protocols UART, I2C, RS232, SPI, USB, bluetooth
7. Hardware debugging/troubleshooting
8. Expertise in digital, power, and analog circuits
9. Understanding light-electrical signal conversion is a plus.
10. Ability to create technical documentation - such as HardwareRequirements Specifications, Design Documents, and TestPlans/Reports.
11. Strong analytical skills, good communications and documentationskills and the ability to work well in a dynamic group environment orindividually.
12. Must be able to effectively communicate cross-functionally, performunder aggressive time-lines, multitask and creatively identify, analyzeand solve problems and manage risk.
13.High level of motivation and strong attention to detail to drive teammembers to convert specifications into differentiated products that willmeet or exceed customer expectations.
