? Creating project budgets and tracking spend
? Development of progress reports
? Managing project sponsor and stakeholder expectations with the bounds of the agreed scope
? Executes tactical implementation of strategic plans
? Development of operational protocols (including but not limited to licensing agreements, etc) to support the creation of new products
? Communication of project status with respect to schedule, budget and other major deliverables, including progress reports to Covidien management
? Creation of risk and mitigation plans as a tool to resolve issues before they present themselves during an activity
? Operate with honesty and integrity utilizing the regional policies laid down by Covidien
? Assures compliance with company policies
? Stays informed about applicable new rules, regulations and standards for activities being executed




? 7+ years of experience in engineering practice and project management with a strong preference for experience gained in the medical device industry working for a western MNC in China
? Ability to communicate in Mandarin (ideally Shanghai dialect) and English both verbal and written with excellence
? Ability to manage and collaborate with teams across multiple geographies
? Demonstrated excellence in influencing others to work at all levels in the organization
? Demonstrated excellence in customer interaction and relationship building
? Strong organizational skills
? Needs to be an expert user of MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
