RESPONSIBILITIES and GOALS:
Development of engineering solutions for patient monitoring and anesthesia systems
Detailed design work, simulation and component selection to meet product performance, quality, and reliability specifications
Develop designs to meet all product design requirements for performance, reliability and manufacturability
Provide technical expertise in the development of analog circuit, embedded applications, microprocessor based instrumentation, component design includingand firmware, etc., supporting the development of patient monitoring products
REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Engineering (EE) with 5+ years electronic experience in high technology product development. Medical background is better.
Experience completing technical documentation for engineering and manufacturing
Demonstrated skills in embedded platform development and/or PDA, high performance computing platforms, microprocessor based instrumentation, and digital electronic design
Demonstrated ability to set and meet project schedules.
Experience with simulation tools and methods to optimize and verify designs
Experience planning and conducting rigorous design of experiments and tests to validate designs
Experience with design of high-density multi-layer PC boards, ASICs, and FPGA.
Experience of EMC testing and debugging.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment while meeting individual and project commitments
Demonstrated experience in successfully developing medical devices
