Position Overview:
Responsible for developing and expanding Welch Allyn Medical business for assigned territory by developing regional distribution channels and visiting both regular and new customers to canvas for orders for all Welch Allyn products. Also be involved in planning sales strategies for selecting, training, and developing dealers, or distributors as well as developing government tender business. Ultimately responsible for attaining annual sales goals throughout the assigned territory. To convey the Welch Allyn quality message throughout all interactions with colleagues and customers
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute sales strategy to realize sales quota and growth opportunities. Execute promotion strategy of current and new products. Establish and manage customer and distributor networks. Develop and maintain government relationships at provincial, city and county level, understand government planning, budgeting and tendering process, and promote Welch Allyn products and solutions. Support marketing function and market development process with your market intelligence. Create Welch Allyn brand, products and Lead and establish integrated marketing communication programs to build brand awareness and generate sales leads. Generate reports on market and sales activities, and customer and market database. Help to organize and attend exhibitions, and other promotional activities to develop customer contacts and assists distributors. This role is also a product knowledge and application expert. Coordinates after-sales service with Service Manager. Spend up to 75% time in the field.
Required Background:
Bachelor of Science in Medical, Bio-engineering or related field. Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience in Medical Device Sales Management in China.
Mastery in spoken and written Chinese and English are essential. Proficient in Excel, MS Words, and PowerPoint. Shown strong confidence in effective sales presentation and handle assigned territory independently.
Proven ability of strategic thinking, planning and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal flexibility and strong relationship building skills. Strong organizational, people management and team skills. Work well under pressure and always meet deadlines. Analytical, results-focused, delivering to commitments, and resourceful.
