? Apply solid electrical design skills to develop medical devices to meet specific performance, cost and deliver goals according to product development quality system, including development of analog signal conditioning board, main processor board, user interface, power management designs and so on.
? As a team member, significantly contribute to completion various project activities, including product specification definition, risk analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, design reviews, EMC design and design transfer to manufacturing.
? Create and implement the product test plans/protocols and generate test reports to ensure product design meets the specifications and quality system requirements.
? Work closely with cross-function team, including design reviews with manufacturing engineers, test engineers, mechanical engineers to ensure the design meets the product requirements, including safety, reliability and manufacturability. Be creative in finding cost effective and innovative solutions in the product development process
? Interface with selected suppliers, provide technical knowledge during selection of electronic components, electromechanical sub-assemblies, PCB/A vendors, cable vendors and other suppliers to ensure highest quality while meeting cost goals.
? Support supply chain managers for vendor management, when required, to ensure suppliers deliver quality products in timely manner.
? Make, recommend or justify critical technical decisions in product design. The decision should be based on broad investigation and enough testing.
? Electronic engineering, biomedical engineering or similar major in education background.
? Master with 5+ years or bachelor with 8+ years electrical circuitry design and development experience.
? Bioelectrical signal or very weak signal acquisition and processing knowledge preferred;
? Embedded system related hardware and firmware knowledge and experience preferred.
? Medical device development experience and IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2 and related IEC standard familiarity preferred.
? Excellent documentation skills.
? Good oral and written English skills.
? Excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation and team cooperation.
? Quick learning in new technology.
? Able to work in global collaborating environment with intensive challenges.
? Skills required:
? Has solid circuitry design knowledge, both analog circuit and digital circuit.
? Be experienced in low noise circuitry design and development.
? Be experienced in EMC, safety, reliability design and testing.
? Be experienced in complex digital circuit system design and implementation, especially based on FPGA and VHDL.
? Be experienced in CPU+FPGA hardware platform design, implementation, testing and debugging.
? Familiar with Cadence, Multisim, Modelsim and other EDA tools.
? Has necessary PCB layout skill.
? Has necessary coding skill using C and assembly language based on embedded system
